If it had not been for Services and Resources for Seniors, my 90-year-old-plus-parents would not have been able to stay in their home as long as they did.  They stepped right in after my father broke his hip to do the type of things that we adult children could not manage because of living a distance.  They scheduled doctors' appointments, arranged transport for my father who is in a wheelchair, attended the appointments, followed up with the children, and ensured that prescriptions were ordered.  They also communicated closely with the health care worker who cared for my parents so that treatments could be implemented.  In addition, the care manager developed relationships with both of my parents as well as with the children.  She treated us with amazing care and compassion and was always available to talk.  Another wonderful aspect of SRS, Inc. is the seamless communication that goes on among the group.  Someone is always available on weekends, and everyone had access to the latest information regarding my parents.  I am so grateful for the wonderful support my parents received.
